Vicente Gil Sordo is Honored as a Premiere Member by Emerald Who’s Who for Executives and Professionals


Madrid, Spain, November 6, 2009 – Vicente Gil Sordo, the Cabinet Advisor at the Presidency of UNESA, has been honored as a Premiere Member by Emerald Who’s Who for Executives and Professionals for showing excellence, commitment and dedication in the Engineering field.

Vicente Gil Sordo received a degree in Civil Engineering. He specializes in the area of Energy and Electric Systems. Mr. Gil Sordo also received a degree in Economics and Business Administration (Major: Business Studies). From 1969-1985, he worked for the Unidad Eléctrica, SA (UNESA) as an Energy Planning Engineer. He was the Spanish representative on the Project MARKAL energy systems analysis from the International Energy Agency and Head of the Program Coordination of UNESA.
Later on, from 1985-1999, Mr. Gil Sordo became the Director of the Association of Medicine and Safety at Work UNESA. He is currently the cabinet advisor to the Presidency at UNESA and has been since 1999. Other accomplishments that Vicente Gil Sordo has made are the numerous publications of Energy Economics in national and international journals. He has also published several books such as "The electricity sector through UNESA 1944-2004”.
