November 29, 2010 - Sayed Mahmood Al Mukhtar Manager of Service Excellence Centre at Bahrain Telecommunication Company (Batelco) is recognized as a Premiere member by Emerald Who’s Who for consistent dedication, strong leadership and outstanding perseverance.

At the initiation of his professional career Mr. S. Mahmood Al Mukhtar began working in the central office building as a “wireman” with only as much as a High School Certificate, determined to climb the Management ladder, essentially withheld an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Glamorgan (Wales, UK); an H.N.D. in marketing, Advertising and PR from London Chamber of Commerce & Industry (UK) and an HND in Network Telecommunication from Batelco College (Bahrain). He retained a wide range of expertise from experience in customer service to quality assurance in access network infrastructure and executive management experience in the communications technology region. Providing a progressive insight and expertise to his position at Batelco, Mr. Al Mukhtar has been instrumental to the success of various projects.

Recently appointed to Manager of Service Excellence Centre, with over more than 22 years of experience, Mr. S. Mahmood Al Mukhtar is responsible for carrying out audit processes on operational field activities to assure quality of service and work standard. Among many tasks, his daily responsibilities include composing various audit reports. Reports such as: Aged Service Order History Report (Observation, findings and recommendation report) Aged Faults; Conduct Service Provision Quality audit; Craftsmen Vehicle & Safety audit; Network system integrity audit; Online Customer Experience Survey; Online Customer Experience Service Provision Survey & Audit; Repeated Faults audit and Tools & Equipment Audit. Along with coordinating employees training program in Fix network at Batelco; Organize & conduct a field site visit to major project in progress and Lead Service Order Coordination Team (SOCOOT).

Mr. Al Mukhtar brings progressive insight and expertise to his position in Batelco Networks management for the MENA region (www.batelco.com.bh). Based on his knowledge and experience he has been instrumental to the success of many projects, setting the strategic and tactical evolution in the Kingdom of Bahrain. His broad understanding of the technical, business and market realities behind the emergence of access network communications ensures Batelco Solutions’ continued commitment to innovation focused on the end user.

Along with his many successes, Mr. Al Mukhtar was Senior Planning Officer and Manager Access Network of the building permission committee in Bahrain, delivering responsibility of the underground communication infrastructure in Bahrain.

Among other achievements, Mr. Al Mukhtar is a former national football team player whom performed excellently in the 1990’s. Extending his various professional tasks to writing sports articles in local newspapers such as Alayam and Alwaqt, to critique and help develop Bahrain sports.

Along with his affiliation to Emerald Who’s Who for Professionals and Executives Inc., Mr. Al Mukhtar is also a member of the International Association of Book Keeper (IAB)-UK and ex Bahrain National Football Team Player 1987-1992. He is looking to network with Customer Service (service excellence) or Quality Audit field professionals to research the visibility of applying similar strategies to Bahrain.
