Mario Thiem has experience working in the areas of oil & gas exploration and production contracts, natural gas sale and purchase agreements and transportation contracts. He has extensive knowledge of the Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, and Uruguay Oil & Gas Legal Framework. Since 2005 to the present time, Mr. Thiem has been a member of the negotiating team with the government of Venezuela for the conversion of Chevron E&P Contracts into mixed companies.
Mr. Thiem’s experience also included working as Co-project leader for the Trans Andean Oil Pipeline Project from 1992 to 1994. He was responsible for the definition and setting of corporate framework, negotiation of finance contracts and supervising engineering, procurement and construction contracts.
